Ok, so I'm reading book six, "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince." Well, it's been awhile since I've picked up a copy of HP. I think the last book I read was book 7 when it came out last year. So there are some things I've forgotten. I got on my trusty google which lead me to my newest obsession, the Harry Potter wiki. Anything and everything Harry Potter at the tip of your fingers. Here is my shout out to the HP Wiki...

the scoop
Ten things you wish you could say to 10 different people right now (don't list names)(FYI: I seem bitter, ouch)
1. I've never truly been able to get over you. I think I will always love you. I don't know whether or not I should tell you. I don't want to risk our friendship. I think I'm too much of coward. Every time I picture my future your in it. I know in some capacity you will always be in my life. I wish he never made me that bitter that I pushed you away.
2. Why can't you make up your mind?
3. I hate that we no longer have a friendship. I love you so much. You've been there through some hard times. Times, that I don't think I would of made it without you. But I'm tired of fighting this fight for your attention. It isn't fair to me. No one should have to try as hard as I do for your friendship.
4. I compare myself to you all the time. The choices that we've both made and how similar those choices are. It honestly makes me sick to my stomach. I don't want to end up anything like you. I have to remind myself daily that I'm not you. I've done so much more than you.
5. I'm going to miss you so much. I will miss getting coffee, pizza, and counting cops. I'm so sorry that I won't be here for the baby. I'm so thankful that you are so understanding and supportive. We've been through hard times together, said things that were aren't proud of but honestly, I think it's made us closer.
6. Wake the f*ck up and realize that you have a great life and husband, something I would give anything for. Get over yourself. Stop with the Jesus speak, He created help, so go out there and get it, you need it. Or I will be watching you on Court TV, not because your a cop but because you've blown up some building or killed your husband.
7. After everything I've done for you, all the times I've bailed you out, listened to you whine, fixed your problems, you walk out on me. Not just walk out, but while I'm hysterical. Hysterical in such a bad way that I threw myself to the ground in tears and couldn't breathe when you shut the door behind you. I couldn't even calm down to call my sister so she could talk me down. I hate you so much right now. I hate that I hate you. You chose a stupid girl over me. I don't think you realize how much that hurt me. I sound like such a bitch by saying this, I hope you fail without me. I hope you grow up and ditch that long haired freak you call your best friend. He is nothing but a loser. You are so much better than that. Thanks for the ten years, but I'm cashing out. Done, over, forever. I can't believe you don't support this move. You told me that if I stay there that I will never see you again. I know you didn't mean it, but you weren't thinking and that hurt. I hate that you tell people all these wonderful things about me but you've never told ME anything that shows you care. You say I'm your rock and how wonderful I am but NEVER once to me. You take me for granted. I have nothing but anger towards you right now, you've riped my heart out. Words can't even express how angry and hurt I am. When I think of you, I just breakdown and cry. I can't help it. When you decide you grow up, find me. I won't be waiting.
8. Know how much I look up to you. I try so hard to be you. I hate that I hide things from you because I feel like you'll be ashamed. I know you won't be but I just don't know how to express my emotions, thoughts, and ideas. You know how to do everything so well. I love you so much. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm sorry that in the process we've both lost three important relationships. Honestly, I wouldn't trade one of them for a moment with you.
9. I wish I wasn't so dependant on you. I'm scared that when we both leave, you'll die. I know you won't take care of yourself. I couldn't imagine living without you. I wake up in fear of this. Your my best friend. I tell you everything. I hope that I'm what you wanted.
10. I hope that I can be there for the wedding. If not, I'm sorry. I really am. I want to be there but my career/future is more important to me. Sorry for the selfishness.

Saturday Night
I forgot to write about that. I had Saturday off, it was amazing.
GO UTAH! UTE! BCS BOUND!!! Number 6 in the country. HOLLA. I'll be the first to admit that I've been a horrible Utah fan this season, I haven't been to a single game. I use to care so much about college football, now I'm just too busy with other stuff. I miss being so involved with UTAH football. Oh well, I went to the very first Utah BCS game. That makes me cool.
So, I was pissed because my friend didn't get back with me, and I thought the whole night was down the tube. Talk about negative attitude. After I went to the Olive Garden with my parents for the early bird special, I decided that I would find out what HB was doing. She was available. We met a Starbucks, talked for awhile. Went to barnes and noble, looked at some books. Then we decided that we needed to make a trip to our favorite pizza place. Of course after stuffing our faces full of pizza we needed some pie to wash it down. Great times. I had a blast with HB.
Then after I went back to my car, I remembered I had an invite for Mallory's party. I got there around midnight. It was so much fun. I learned how to play flip cup and drink ball. I hadn't had that much fun in awhile. I met some new people, hung out with Mallory and Brandon. Good times.

my head is pounding
I have a huge headache...
I so don't want to be here at work. God I hate this shit hole. 8 more shifts after this one. Just get through it.
I found out the coolest thing the other day, in gmail chat you can add your aim contacts. It rocks my world. I'm talking to people on aim and the stupid blocker can't do shit about it! Ha! I freaking love google.
One of the things I will miss the most about Utah is the semi-decent Mexican food. I will miss Red Iguana, Cafe Rio, and that place I go with my parents. Ah, sweet amazing Mexican food. I'm going to Rio today for lunch, I just need to not crash until the afternoon. Red Iguana, I'm forcing Laura to take me there next Tuesday and my parents for my birthday. Yum.
Craigslist personals get me through the night. Have you ever read them? Hilarious!

making a special comeback
I miss my long beautiful hair. I miss being able to put my hand behind my back and playing with the ends of my hair. I also love it being short and easy to take care of. But I've decided, long it is. Regrowth begins now. Sigh.

Twilight
Alright, so I saw the movie last night at the midnight showing. I've never read a book in this series so when my sister asked me to go I was hesitant but I really didn't have anything better going on. I knew what to expect at from the movie because of all the hype and my knowledge of the book.
The movie wasn't that great. It made me laugh when it wasn't. There was a quote missing from a Will Farrell movie: "Old man, I'm gonna come at you like a Spider Monkey." I knew that Edward was suppose to be handsome, but Robert Pattinson, looks like he has downs (rude, I know). He played the character of Cedric Diggory and failed me in that. Cedric is handsome as well but Robert is not. FAIL. Plus there was little tweens with their mommy's everywhere.
But now, for some reason I've decided to read the book, but not continue with the series until the next movie came out.
The best part of the whole movie, was the HARRY POTTER preview. Talk about a great book series. I like both the book and movie series. I treat them as completely different stories. HP movies have great cinematic vaule, with cool special effects, fantastic actors, and an awesome score.
So in honor of the upcoming HP movie, tonight at work, I will be reading "Harry Potter and the half blood prince."

Praise the Lord!
I have this Saturday off of work!!! Thank GOD! I'm so excited. I have no idea what I'm going to do but I know whatever it is, it will be fun. PARTY. I know I'm doing lunch or dinner with a friend.

The battle continues
I love Coca-Cola. I have for a very long time. I went 12 months without it. September to September then I had relapse. I have been drinking Coke four times a day! I believe that McDonald's has the best coke so I will go through the drive thru for just a coke. Well I realized that my addiction was once again slowly over taking my life, so I had to put it to rest once more. Today marks the first whole day that I haven't had any coke. I really really want some. I'm tired, at work, and thirsty.....
BTW, I really hate my job. It is sucking the life out of me. I hate not being able to go out on the weekend. I missed my friend's birthday on Friday. Not cool. Everyday I change my last day. I wish it could be tonight but I need the money. I have a love/hate relationship with money.
On a much lighter and happier note, only 40 more days till I leave. I can't freaking wait. I decided to take distance learning classes while in Florida. I haven't decided if this is going to be a good or a bad thing. I guess we'll wait and see.

46 days and counting...
I only have 46 days left in Utah. I'm officially leaving the day after Christmas. My sister is driving with me. We get a mini-road trip together. I guess it isn't really a "mini" road trip considering the fact that we are going 2,500 miles in three days, but regardless it will be some great sister bonding time.
My to do list is getting longer and longer each day. There is so much I have to do before leaving. I need to get Little Yellow in and serviced, she needs a new windshield from the last time I drove 2,500 miles across the country. Hotel arrangements need to be made. I have to pack, which I hate packing. I don't mind packing to travel but packing to move is horrible.
The last night that I will be working in December 12th; two weeks before I leave. I'm really sick of my job, not the job per say but the shift that I work. Weekend graves, it literally has sucked the life out of me. The reason I post so much on my blog during the weekend is my attempt to stay awake. It's great right now because housekeeping in cleaning around me, keeping me awake and alert. I can't really sleep during the day, which is a shocker if you know anything about my sleeping talents. Normally, I can sleep, any time, any where, or any position but lately I've been able to get in a good five hours if I'm lucky. And if you know me really well, you know I can't function on less than eight hours of sleep, so graves are not my thing.
I think the reason I'm having a hard time sleeping is because my mind is running wild. So much is going on right now. My body is so drained right now. I hate that feeling, it's not fun at all.

FM 100
Ok, go ahead and laugh, but I enjoy listening to FM 100. However, I will not be listening for the remainder of the 46 days I have left in Utah. At the beginning of November FM 100 began playing Christmas music, like they do every year. It's just a little too soon for my taste.

men are like..
For a good laugh....
Men are like ... Bananas ... The older they get, the less firm they are.
Men are like ... Bank Accounts ... Without a lot of money, they don't generate much interest.
Men are like ... Bank Machines ... Once they withdraw they lose interest.
Men are like ... Bike helmets ... Handy in an emergency, but otherwise they just look silly.
Men are like ... Blenders ... You need one, but you're not quite sure why.
Men are like ... Cement ... After getting laid, they take a long time to get hard.
Men are like ... Chocolate Bars ... Sweet, smooth, and they usually head right for your hips.
Men are like ... Coffee ... The best ones are rich, warm, and can keep you up all night long.
Men are like ... Commercials ... You can't believe a word they say.
Men are like ... Computers ... Hard to figure out and never have enough memory.
Men are like ... Coolers ... Load them with beer and you can take them anywhere.
Men are like ... Copiers ... You need them for reproduction, but that's about it.
Men are like ... Curling irons ... They're always hot, and they're always in your hair.
Men are like ... Department Stores ... Their clothes are always half off.
Men are like ... Government bonds ... They take soooooo long to mature.
Men are like ... Hammers ... They haven't evolved much over the last 5,000 years, but are handy to have around.
Men are like ... High heels ... They're easy to walk on once you get the hang of it.
Men are like ... Horoscopes ... They always tell you what to do and are usually wrong.
Men are like ... Hot Air Balloons ... To get them to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under them ... and, of course, there is the hot air part.
Men are like ... Lava lamps ... Fun to look at, but not all that bright.
Men are like ... Lawn Mowers ... If you're not pushing one around, then you're riding it.
Men are like … Laxatives ... They irritate the crap out of you.
Men are like ... Maps ... They make an inch into a mile.
Men are like ... Mascara ... They usually run at the first sign of emotion.
Men are like ... Mini skirts ... If you're not careful, they'll creep up your legs.
Men are like ... Pantyhose ... They either cling, run, or don't fit right in the crotch.
Men are like ... Parking spots ... The good ones are already taken and the ones that are left are handicapped or extremely small.
Men are like ... Placemats ... They only show up when there's food on the table.
Men are like ... Plungers ... They spend most of their lives in a hardware store or in the bathroom.
Men are like ... Popcorn ... They satisfy you, but only for a little while.
Men are like ... Shoes ... They are usually unpolished, with their tongues hanging out.
Men are like ... Snowstorms ... You never know when they're coming, how many inches you'll get or how long they will last.
Men are like ... Subways ... They use the same old lines to pick people up.
Men are like ... Tires ... They go bald and often are over-inflated.
Men are like ... Used Cars ... Both are easy-to-get, cheap, and unreliable.
Men are like ... Vacations ... They never seem to be long enough.
Men are like ... Weather ... Nothing can be done to change either one of them.
Men are like ... Ziploc Bags ... They hold everything in, but you can always see right through them.
Men are like ... Bananas ... The older they get, the less firm they are.

WOAH! Prop 8
Ok, so I'm totally against the actions the "church" took inregards to prop 8. I agree their tax exempt satutus should be taken away, but it won't be. I believe that the "church" should of stayed out of it. People should get out and protest the "church", but do it in a peaceful and respectful way. But this article I found is way too drastic.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/nation/6101115.html
The article talks about how people need to boycott Utah's tourism industry as a whole. As in; not skiing, attending meetings/conventions, or visiting the National Parks here in Utah. The article is also calling for filmmakers to pull out of Sundance.....
Yes, the headquarters of the "church" are located here in good ole' Salt Lake City. My question is; does the whole state of Utah need to be punished for the actions a religion headquartered in Utah took?
Bottomline is you pull all this business from the state of Utah by boycotting the tourism industry, an industry that employees the gay community. So are you calling for a boycott of the gay community of Utah?

I...
I stole this from Mallory
I am...bored and at work
I think... about moving to Florida.
I want...all the money in the world.
I have... a lovely bunch of coconuts...
I miss...being a kid.
I fear...failure.
I feel...very overwhelmed by life.
I hear...Natalie counting her money.
I smell...constrution.
I crave... some Costco cake.
I cry... when I see Disney comericals.
I search...the internet when I'm bored at work.
I wonder...where I'll be at this time next year.
I regret...a few things.
I wish...that I didn't have to work until I get to Florida.
I love... my family and friends.
I care...about my family and friends.
I always... am right! (Thank you, Craig)
I worry...about everything.
I am not... going to worry about things out of my control.
I remember... a lot of things!
I believe...in the new president-elect, Barack Obama.
I sing...in the car.
I don't always...lock my car doors.
I argue...when I know, I'm right.
I write...when I'm bored and at work.
I lose...motivation easily.
I listen... to a lot of Jack Johnson.
I can usually be found...with my blackberry and iPod.
I need... to go to the gym.
I forget...where I put my stuff.
I am happy... most of the time...

To - Do List
I have a long to-do before I move but I don't want to think about it. Instead, I'm looking at the things I can't wait to do while I'm down there.
In no particular order:
In no particular order:

Bucket List
I'm trying so hard to stay awake at work tonight. Daylight savings has ended, so it's 4 when it should be 5, adding an extra hour to my shift. We are so slow here at the hotel. I haven't had a call in two hours. The internet is starting to bore me. There is only so much you can look at, stupid blocker!
Anyways, I got to thinking about all the things I want to do before I "kick the bucket." So I created a bucket list.

Anyways, I got to thinking about all the things I want to do before I "kick the bucket." So I created a bucket list.
In no particular order...
- Finish college
- Get a tattoo
- Attend a Superbowl
- Get my CMP (Certified Meeting Professional)
- Have a sucessful career in the meetings industry
- Skydive
- Visit Russia
- Visit Europe (Germany, France, Greece, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, Poland, Denmark, and Sweden)
- Visit Africa (Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, Morocco, and Tanzania)
- Visit the United Kingdom (England, Wales, and Scotland)
- Visit Asia (China, Japan, India, and Thailand)
- Visit all 50 States (I have the following left; Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virgina, and Wisconsin)
- Visit all Disney Theme Parks
- Learn a foreign language
- Live abroad
- Compete in a triathlon
- Get married
- Have kids
- Join the Peace Corps
- Run for a public office
- Learn to cook
So that isn't a very long list, but it's all I can think of at 4:00 AM. I will definitely add to this later, but for now I think it's a pretty great start.
I look at this list and think of how much I have to do but really, if you look at all the things I've accomplished and seen at 22, I've done a lot. I just want to get out and see the world. I want to have awesome stories to tell my grandkids...

My very first post
So I don't really know how this whole blog thing works; meaning, how to set it up/design. I will be playing around with it at work because there isn't much else to do here.
I voted for change this week. It's hard to imagine that this time next we will have a new president elect. INSANE. I'm very thankful that George W. Bush will no longer be in the White House and in control of my safety/health/future/finances/freedom. Hopefully, Bush Jr. Jr. aka McCain will not be elected. I really wonder when Ashton Kutcher is going to jump from behind McCain/Palin to tell us we're being punked and there is really some one else who is the GOP candidate. Palin's beliefs and policies scare me. If the GOP wins the election she would work to over turn Roe v. Wade which would back pedal the women's rights movement that our mothers, grandmothers, and great grandmothers fought so hard for.

I also voted against the proposition for Utah's Hogle Zoo. Bitter, maybe. I honestly do not think the Zoo has done enough. They pour money into new exhibits that they build half ass-ed. I voted for the proposition of bond for the Aviary. Tracy Aviary is located in Liberty Park and is the original site of Utah's Hogle Zoo. The Zoo takes most of the funding and leaves the Aviary with nothing because of the this, the Aviary lost it's accreditation a few years back. Please vote for the Aviary. This is something that is vaulable to Salt Lake County and we cannot afford to lose it.

Most importantly people, get out and VOTE. Please! You don't understand how powerful one vote is. Speak your mind!
..... That is all for now.
